A small airport catering mainly to summer charter flights, Cordoba Airport (ODB) is conveniently situated just 6 km / 4 miles south-west of Cordoba city centre, close to the Guadalquivir River and the Puente Tren Casillas bridge. A popular gateway to Spain's magnificent Costa del Sol, ODB airport has fast and simple ground transportation options from the airport itself as well as from nearby Cordoba. One of Spain's 'third-category' airports, Cordoba Airport serves around 25,000 passengers annually.

The airport lies next to N-437 highway and the A0431 (Carretera a Palma del Rio), which links the city of Cordoba with other main towns on the Costa del Sol. Trips between Cordoba Airport and the city take as little as ten minutes in duration and there is a selection of ground transportation options including buses, shuttles and taxis.



Cordoba itself has great rail connections to regional cities and resorts, as well as fast connections to Madrid. However, many visitors flying into Cordoba Airport opt for the convenience of a rental car to free themselves from the restrictions of timetables.

Rental cars are provided by leading companies such as Avis, Europcar and Hertz, which all use a central reservation counter at Cordoba Airport. Car parking facilities include both a short-term and a long-term car park, with a total of 96 spaces.
